You can't see where one square is a tiny bit smaller than the others, especially if you adjust several blocks and not just one. This only works if you aren't off by much. I love Rebecca's idea of making a small border until it fits.
Thanks so much for your good advice. I'm waiting for Jean's math and then I'll figure out which method I'll use. (pieced or just borders.). The problem is that the panel is so skinny so I need to make up the width somehow.
