    Default Christmas Tree Skirt

Does anyone have a cute Christmas tree skirt using jelly rolls. MSQC has such great ones and I need to get started on skirt.

I don't have a pattern using jellyrolls, but Jenny has a fantastic tutorial on a tree skit that is made from charm squares.

The first thing I made from the tutorials was the Christmas tree skirt. I think I'm going to make another one - they are easy.

http://www.modabakeshop.com/2009/11/...le-runner.html scroll down a little bit to get to the tree skirt pattern. It is for a mini tree but if you just keep adding strips, you could make it for a regular tree

If it was me, I would watch Jenny's tutorial for the basic shape and make the blocks by sewing 3 strips together and making them into squares. You will have to adjust for the larger squares or just make a larger tree skirt. Hope this works for you.
