Just got back from Joannes Fabric store...took 2, 50% off coupons and 2, 40% off coupons and a $5 of $25 or more coupon...

ALL quilting supplies were 50% off! I got a 5" hexagon template, 1 can of quilting adhesive spray, 80, 1,1/2" safety pins, marking chalk, FMQ'ing stencil of butterflies, all half price.

With the coupons, I got one spool (1200 yd) cotton quilting thread, 2 yds each of 3 solid fabrics, plus on sale at 30% off was 2, 1/2 yds of 2 solids for the cupcake quilt I am making for me(seldom do I make for myself!) and one yard of a print for the boarder on the ABC quilt. And then paid fullll prisce for a zipper (haven't paid full price for anything in so long I can't make myself type it!) Total came to $91 and after all the coupons...I paid $49 for it all!

Now next week I have several 50% off-ers and a 60% off a reg price item. I can't think of anything I really need to get a 60% off it..but I am going shopping to find something next week! If nothing else, I'll buy about yards of batting at 60% off..should last me awhile. I was thinking an iron but I guess the one I have is fine, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! I looked at a bobbin winder today...didn't say how much it was, but the ad said "from $99 to $225... so even at $99...not going to pay $40 for it! But I'll look and find something! I am so glad they put a Joannes craft store near me. And I can shop when needed as I can get so many coupons to use at one time..makes it worth my while and I can stock up on fabric. Next trip will be for prints.
