I think there used to be issues with the poly thread "slicing" the cotton fabrics but I don't think that is true anymore. I think that the cotton fabrics are more stable now a days. I learned about the "less lint" on the CC Cotton covered Poly from a sewing machine repair man about 25 years ago and have used nothing else since. But I heard it wasn't good for quilting. And I to heard about the Poly cutting the cotton fabric...ergo another reason for my question..is that still true? Do you now the diff between the DD and DD-XP?
