It is very easy to finish a quilt with out FMQ. You can stitch in the ditch with a running stitch or use a decorative stitch (which is what I have done on my last 2) You can also stitch, with walking foot, 1/4" inside the seams will look nice also. Possibly a grid pattern using painters tape to mark your grid, and then you just sew right next to it. U could also tie or hand quilt.
