Wintersong Turn Over set...have you used it? What for?

I am thinking Christmas and winter...bit early, but I've always been a "christmas in July" person just have the ability to be a little early this year!

Anyway, I bought the "Wintersong" turnovers from MSQC 6"...boy are they gorgous. Not all are "christmasy" but reds/greens/browns.. just alot of the winter/christmas colors, including a beautiful plaid.

I was wondering if anyone has used that design in a quilt, or if you have a triangle/square pattern you have done with this design or with another design, but just the 6"tri's.

Can you post pics? I need ideas and have never done a turnover theme before. I know I can sew the together to make squares, and that'd be okay, but then what? I don't think I want the pieces to small or I will miss the design in the fabric..the pinecones, the leaves stars, flowers etc. Thanks!

That's what I am going for. And "adult" theme christmas. Kids are gone, don't get to have christmas day at my house...last year I hardly decorated..but still want to stay "in the season"..so I am thinking "grown up Christmas" decor!

I've got that turnover set too. Love it. Haven't used it yet though. I, too, am a Christmas in July type of girl. :) I don't know if I want to make a tablerunner or a small throw. (or maybe buy some more and make a large throw.

I definately want to do a throw...slightly smaller than a twin...I want it for during the winter to stay warm with while watching TV.

I love it. Especially the birds and the pinecone prints.

I bought the charm pack. I would do a large flying geese pattern.

I've just learned the flying geese template pattern and really like it..But how do you do it with the triangles already cut? The template way is the only way I know how to do them! But the fabrics would look good as flying geese.

so I hadnt seen these tutorial, and wondered what to do with the turnovers myself, ugh looks like its time to feed the mailbox again lol

I have been searching for the black border print that Jenny used on her quilt but .... seems no one has it.....
