    Default Sewong Labels

I have a new sewing machine which allows me to wright labels. The lady at my LQS told me to put tissue paper on the back side of the fabric to help stabalize it. I did that yesterday, but I don't think it did the trick. it had some minor puckers. Since I've never done this before, does the tissue idea seem right to you??

I would put a piece of woven fabric behind there and just leave it as a second layer to prevent a shadow from the quilt. White of course

    Or a tear-away stabilizer.

YOU MUST use stabalizer and if the lady told you "tissue",, shame on her... that could screw up you machine....!
If you have a walmart near you,,, get a lt. weight stabalizer... (or you may have some from sewing days).... some people have used coffee filters... but tissue... Yikes!!!
they have "tear away kind", but the more sturdy the stab. the better the embroidery results...
