    Default Hand quilting what is wrong with this pict? HELP

    I am not sure if this is suppose to look like this is it my thread or is it me or do I need to change the color on this? This is my first time hand quilting pls help. I am trying to quilt around turtles and star fish the qult top is the blue fabric.
