    Default Cutting Edge Rulers

I was looking at rulers in the MSQC Quilt Shop and saw some that were from Cutting Edge. The edge of the ruler is embedded with diamond particles which is said to sharpen your blade as you cut fabric. Does anyone have these rulers, and does it work to keep your blades sharp? We all know how expensive replacement blades are.

I have one, and I think it does help. It would probably help more if I used it every time that I cut, but it's a bit on the smaller side so mostly gets used for trimming things. I use my 6 x 24 and my 12.5 x 12.5 ruler the most so I might consider getting one in that size.

I have one and it does sharpen your dull blades well. My only complaint...the carbide layer is thin - when it's gone, it's gone. Then you're just left with a ruler and I found it didn't last very long at all. Save your money, buy a brand ruler to match your other ones and put the savings towards blade replacements.

and you need to turn the blade to sharpen both sides. I can't say that it's all that I hoped it would be but the size I have is not one I'm using all the time......that's all I can say about it...sorry.
