How do I miter corners on binding using a decorative stitch

I would come up to the turn and with needle down I'd turn and continue sewing. The decorative stitch is small enough that I don't think it will matter if the repeat finishes right at the corner before you turn to sew the next side. Try it on a sample and see what you think.
