Re: Well..... what do you think ?
or.......... if you revisit your "on-point" thought, use 13 plates (row 1- 3 plates, row 2- 2 plates, row 3- 3 plates, etc...) You would have to add setting triangles and use the extra 2 blocks to make cushions.

Once you mix up the blocks, use a 4 x 4 layout and sashing, your Dresden plate quilt will be fabulous! Can't wait to see the finished quilt!

Chiming in with my two cents' worth, I'd sash it with a medium blue and use darker blue cornerstones. It's going to be a sweet quilt!

This is going to ba a lovely quilt. I can't wait to see it finished. I think sashing will definitely make the blocks stand out. Great job!

Re: Well..... what do you think ?
Soo sweet and pretty. I want one. I'm kind of stuck on round shapes for quilt blocks right now. Love Mississippi Wheel of Fortune, dresdens...the vintage ones, the modern ones, sunflower quilts, etc. Am finding several that I want to make SOMEDAY.
Personally, I like the dresdens all mixed together, not colors in a row. But then that is probably a result of looking at the vintage ones that were such a combination of what they had. Love them all.
Let us see what you choose to do.
