The electronic machines are very much like a computer. It seems like 90% of the time what's wrong with your computer can be fixed by rebooting it. Same with some of the sewing machines. If the stitch isn't working right after you've tried everything else, turn the machine off for a few minutes, turn it back on, go to the stitch again and see if it works. Many times that's all it takes.
