    Default binding tool

I just received the binding tool and I can't wait to use it. Unfortuately I have to wait as it is prom season and I am getting busy altering gowns. I wasn't busy for the past 2 and half months and it was great so that I could do some quilting. So far I am only making table runners and placemats.

I think you will enjoy the binding tool. The first time you use it, it's a good idea to watch Jenny's tutorial carefully a time or two. I used my tool a few days ago and my binding turned out perfect. Barb

I find the tutorial and then watch it before I start my binding. When I get to the end and need to bind, I watch it again and pause it... run to my sewing room and sew that part, run back to my computer room and watch the next section, pause and keep doing this until I finish the binding. I am getting to where I can now understand the directions on the tool, but still like to watch the video. This tool also makes a wonderful and easy Friendship Braid quilt.

I enjoy my binding tool also. Discovered that when they say "leave a 12" opening" they really do mean 12! At first I wasn't that picky until I realized what I was doing wrong in my measuring. Works just great now. : )

Yep, I agree, it really does need to be 12" or it won't work exactly right.
