quilting a dresden plate table runner
I made a dresden plate table runner that had 3 dresden blocks and 2 borders. I took it to my quilter and had it quilted. When I picked it up the circle of the plate wasn't flat. It was a little puffy. I cut it out using the cardboard template. and I machine appliqued it on to the blades. It wasn't puffy then. She did not quilt in the center of the plate. Should I have used iron on interfacing to make it lay flat?
I want to make another one. but I don't want to have the center look like the last one. Any suggestions?
