Batting or no batting?
I'm making my first quilt/rag quilt. I'm using jean material and a flower patterened cotton material. The backing is sort of fleece sort of flannel(it's light weight and really soft). I'm not 100% sure what it is because the fabric I'm using was given to me.
So the ultimate question is, should I cut squares of batting? Or should I use the left over squares of flannel/fleece as a "batting" or should I not put anything between? I kinda feel like I should put something inbetween.
if it helps there's a slight slight chance we might be moving to alaska. lol
Thanks!
