I recently changed over to CT thread too, and can tell a difference, especially that there is alot less fuzz/lint buildup on my presser foot and the little place that my spool lives (don't know what it is called). The CT thread is very reasonably priced, especially when on sale. Walmart sells Coats n Clark for approx 2.49 for 375 yds a spool, where CT has 1200 yds on a spool for 2.19 on sale, regular price is 2.49. Someone else also mentioned that CT has free shipping for orders over 50.00, and it is easy to rack up 50.00 just on thread. CT also has a great color selection. I'm couldn't be more pleased with my CT thread.

Glad to hear the reviews on the CT thread. Once I work through the thread stash I have inherited, that's where I am going. I do love to look at their catalogs too. A great source of inspiration!

Wow, I feel like I'm in a whole other universe right now, lol. I've never heard of that thread before. Usually the only brands I can find are Coats and Clark or Gutterman. I have crap tons of Gutterman thread because it goes on sale often and it seems to do the trick and come in all the colors of the rainbow. Even on sale tho I don't think it's as inexpensive as the CT thread you mentioned tho. Hmmmm. Lol.

I get my Aurifil from The Quilting Bear usually and they do free shipping so it makes it affordable (not sure if it'll be free to HI but worth a shot - it says all USA orders have free shipping).

You can sometimes find the colors you need from Sue's Sew EZ Designs and she's going out of business so all her thread is 40% off right now. Once you purchase from Sue she will process a refund back to your Paypal account. It's kind of weird but worth it for the savings you get.
