    If they are difficult to sew with, you can always use a stabilizer to make it easier. If you already have large triangles, sew them in an hourglass block using 4 triangles (2 pairs of the same colour if you have a variety). Once they are done, you can cut them all down to the same size as your smallest one, maybe about 12".

    I love your idea about using 4 triangles and cutting them down to about 12 1/2 inches to take care of the quarter inch sem allowance. Thanks.
