Hi
I am soon finished whit my mothers quilt. Only 3 more rows and i am done. Now the question of border arise.
Should i put a darkbrown framingborder and a second border ( what color)?
Or should i not have any borders?
What do you all think?

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.
I think I would put a thin rose border, then a green to match the green from the quilt top.

I think brown would overpower the delicate colors of the blocks. I think I would use the same (or darker) rose as the blocks for a narrow inner border and then a wider outer border of the same green as in the picture. It's going to be a lovely quilt!
I think a narrow solid rose color border than a wider green to match the green in the quilt would be perfect.

That is coming along so nice! I woud agree a narrow border of a pink or rose color to set off the blocks and then a wider one of the green that you used in your background. That way it continues to keep that soft and delicate look that you've already achieved. Your mom is going to love it!
