Mum´s quilt, Border question?

I think a narrow solid rose color border than a wider green to match the green in the quilt would be perfect.

I agree with this and then when you get it quilted use that same solid rose colored material for the binding. It's going to be b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l for sure!!!!
