    Question Dear Daughter

I am thinking of making my daughter a quilt using the dear daughter panel incorporated into a pattern. Has anyone made one of these? I'm looking for unique ideas. She's having my first grandbaby/grandson this June & I thought this would be a good gift for her after having the baby, so I don't have long. If you have made one, do you have pictures?

These are 2 patterns using that panel.

I just googled dear daughter material panel and came up with them.

I have a 'dear daughter' top finished but not quilted. I'll try to get a pic and post it for you. It is a scrappy quilt, and all three of my daugters love it..... I made it because I love the beautiful sentiments on each panel.... hubs laughed and was wondering which daughter I'd give it to.

Yes, I was looking for the clotilde post that our Crazy Mountain Lady found, I had just seen that yesterday. I got distracted and had to order fabric instead of continuing my search! ADHD when looking at fabric!

I think I would like the scrappy look better than the one at clotilde. I want it to be something she looks at and remembers all the things I've taught her about loving her child and being a parent. I told her its a love that never fades and neither does the worry that comes with it and no parent is perfect that's why scrappy is best. I also have 2 other girls but I can make them one later, of course those will be different.
