Default Give me your opinion Please

    Hello everyone,

I need some advice from all you quilters. I am starting a X's and O's quilt. Each block is done with red, purples, blues, greens and their all the Batik look. What color do you think the corners should be. MSQC video uses a solid white. What other color do you think would work? Here is the video if you need to see what I am talking about.
YOur help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I was thinking black...not sure unless we see your fabrics. Could you post a pic of them?

Oh so pretty. I think black or maybe purple would be beautiful. They look so much like the Hawaiian batiks a friend gave me that I can't bear to cut up, they look so pretty sitting on my bookshelf.

White if you want the resulting quilt to be light and "summery" ................... black or other dark blender / solid otherwise ............. either way will be fabulous!

I am working on a batik top with a black background. It really sets off the colors of the batiks. Also, since batiks sometimes "bleed" a bit more than other fabrics, I think black is a safer choice.

Do you have any pics of the one witha black background. I thought the same thing. If one of those bright dark colors bleed onto the white, it would look really crummy and I would cry.

    Thank you for responding.
