God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.
Hi Annika
I would use the bottom one. A black sashing would really set those patch blocks off as well.
Sewing mends the soul.

Hi Annika,
I agree with Blondie! The bottom one would be perfect. Be sure and post the picture when you are finished, it will be gorgeous.

Sometimes the early bird gets the worm . . . that's because Blondie always beats me up. I agree - I was thinking BLACK - it needs a bit of black. And I love the last fabric for a border. What a wonderful thing you are doing.
Be warned. I am BORED.
This could be dangerous.
When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
They are usually 90 degrees.
A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??
That's four for the bottom fabric. The top one seems too busy for the quilt. It kinda detracts from the beautiful pattern in the blocks.
Make it 5! Agree with the other quilters.....love the black for a border.
ok, you've got another vote for a narrow black border to pop your blocks and the second fabric for your final border. It's going to be a great looking quilt!

Yep, black to make it pop!

Hi
Thank you all that replayed. I will think on what you say. Unfortunet i don have any black fabric, But I think i could used the dark choclate fabric for a narrow border, 1 1/2 " or mabye 2" then maybe a checkerbord whit the fabric from the blocks and then a border whit the yellow backing fabric. and the binding white the choclate brown fabric. I will try and lay it out tomorrow and see if it works.
I will take a picture when it is done so you all can see. Until then,, Have a great day!

The dark brown will give you the same effect as the black, a dark color to pop your squares. Your plan sounds very nice! How is PoA doing?
