Hello fellow quilters,
Has anyone used the "glow in the dark thread"? Am curious to see if it works....would it lose its "glow" after washings?

I bought some at the Paducah show, but haven't used it yet. I looked at the spools, and they are glowing in the dark.
Sounds like fun to me.
I have used the embroidery thread that glows in the dark - it was on Halloween projects. They looked pretty cool! Hadn't thought of using it to quilt with - the embroidery thread version was pretty expensive when I bought it, but that was a few years ago....I say go for it!
Jean, have you tried out the conductive thread that you got at Paducah?
I used a solar embroidery thread on a quilt a month ago. Turned out really cute. I've read they do lose their "potency" after a while.
sounds cool, I would go for it
I have used glow in the dark threads before and they are awesome. My son has actually designed a christmas runner for me to make. It will be several giant outdoor type lights and I will FMQ the bulbs with the color they are so they glow. should be interesting.
