I was wondering if anyone could offer some ideas on some simple or easy quilt patterns? There is a lady (she's around the age of 40) at my church who has cancer...she just found out last month that she had cancer of the esophagus and in the past few weeks she has found out that it has spread to several other areas of her body..I would really like to make her a quilt as a gesture of kindness...however I am a newbie at quilting and I was just wondering if anyone would have any ideas for something that's not too hard but still lovely.. something lap size is what I want to do..
