    Default silk thread in bobbin

I am going to use #100 silk thread (top of machine) for FMQ on a silk tie wall hanging. Has anyone tried using silk thread in a bobbin or would you recommend something else? Thanks for the advice!

Default Re: silk thread in bobbin

Welcome to the forum! I haven't tried it in the bobbin, but I did use it to hand stitch binding and I thought it seemed to fray quicker than the cotton thread I usually use.
