Accufeed foot, so glad I have it!

I just finished SITD quilting a very large quilt, and I have a Janome Horizon, which has an Accufeed foot. Here's what a dummy I am, I've had the machine for almost 2 years, and finally found out how to install the foot about 6 weeks ago! What a difference that makes in how easy it is to quilt without having problems! And to think I've struggled to quilt for quite a while and had the necessary tool to use to make it easy all along. Dumber still, I have had a Janome 6600 for about 4 years, and it has one too, and I never used it--some people never learn!

The older I get the more I have to fight this problem. It's something I really have to work at. All of this new technology is good for the brain. What's really great is the fact that you figured it out. There's nothing worse than being in the dark.

Well Rebecca, I had to have my dealer show me how to put it on, and it was soo simple. I was embarrassed to be so dense! I couldn't even figure it out from READING THE INSTRUCTIONS. May be a function of that old age thing you mentioned

The only reason I knew how to attach the foot and how to lower the second foot is that I was shown how to do it at the dealers. I love it!
