    Default First queen size quilt...help

    Ok I am doing the borders. It's a 90" x 90". Do I buy the fabric that long or can I put two strips together to make it long enough. Not sure how to do this part. one border is going to be 2" and the next one will be 7". I need help!!

    you strip it together like you would for binding....

    Yep, you sew strips together to get the length you want. : )

    I usually do solid borders or very large print borders lengthwise...if the print is smaller and will be unnoticeable when quilted, I do crosswise cuts and seam them with a slanted seam...there really is no wrong way except maybe wrong side up (yep...I have done that!)... can't wait to see your quilt!
