In my opinion if this was the thread that the customer had requested then this is the customers problem. If at the time of setting up the job she had been advised that the choice may not be good, and it is the job of the quilter to give this type of advise, and she had still wanted it then it is not the problem of the quilter. It's a bit like telling the hairdresser you want all your hair cut off, the choice is yours and the result, if you don't like it, is your problem. Fortunately quilting can be fixed, short hair takes a little longer.
