I have a quilt top I need to sandwich and quilt quick. I was thinking stitch-in-the-ditch but then thought maybe I could use the zig zag stitch on my machine. I would go over the lines where the pieces come together (it is made of charm squares).

Any thoughts? Suggestions? Things to watch out for? Anyone want to scream, "NO!"
