My machine has that stitch and I never really paid attention to it but I did a practice piece with it yesterday and snipped the threads I like the way it looks.

I have a Janome 6600. How can I find the stitch if I have it? I didn't say that right, but hope you caught my drift. I love that stitch! TFS.

gigi712, here's a photo of what the diagram looks like, 3 lines together in a row, then one stitch, then 3 again...P94 in the photo! Hope that helps you - I couldn't find a 6600 stitch chart on-line to tell you exactly if you have it.

    Angie

I was not able to see the picture(s) of the stitch but do have it on my machine. I would love to try it as I love the hand quilt look but don't know how to use it. I tried it last night after reading your post but it looked like a regular stitch. I guess i need to cut the "jump" stitch. Problem is I don't know what the "jump" stitch is. Is it the single one ore the one that looks like it has more than one thread.

    Thanks

Angie, I have one that looks like that one and I have to use the 'F' foot. I'm in the middle of finishing a project right now and will try it as soon as I finish. (I hate changing feet, lol) Thank you for taking the time to let me know what to look for.

I can't see the pics now either. Bummer! I just want to drool when I see them.

OMG! All my photos are gone!!! Yikes - what happened?? That's a real drag. Yes, gig712, you have to use the F foot. I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

mrsg730 - I'll try again! It's not letting me load photos.. And you have to cut the jump thread - the single one!
