I agree, Myrna is good!! The way Jenny does the bowtie is a bit different from the one I have posted. (CLARIFICATION - just so you aren't mislead, I did NOT do those blocks - I just joined them all together. Part of them were hand-sewn and part were machine pieced . . . and I bought them at an estate sale).

Jenny's method makes it easier to do the center piece. If you do them the 'old-fashioned' way you almost have to hand piece part of the block.

BUT your question is whether you can use the charm packs and I agree they would be great with yardage for the corner blocks.

We'd love to see how you do! It is a very wonderful block that can be made into many variations depending upon the placement of the blocks as they are pieced together.
