I have noticed also that I tend to let it run off the end as opposed to completely following the 1/4 inch seam. Re the ironing I noticed a thread on here saying a padded board is not good for pressing which I am also using so might try to make the hard board they are recommending. Every little bit helps : )

Paula...I hadn't read that about the non-padded iron board. I'll give that a try too. Can you send link? Do you just iron on a board, like a kitchen cutting board or is there a surface board you use, covered maybe? Thanks
