    Are you nesting your seams when you sew them together? If you iron your row seams in opposite directions and then sew them together with the top seam facing away from you they will "nest" together quite easily and your seams will look nice on the top.

    Here is a little tutorial on how to nest your seams and how perfect they turn out when you do!

    Paula...I hadn't read that about the non-padded iron board. I'll give that a try too. Can you send link? Do you just iron on a board, like a kitchen cutting board or is there a surface board you use, covered maybe? Thanks

    Cheri, it's under "look what I found" pressing board by Judy Ann. They suggest something like Jenny uses which I think is just like a piece of hardwood with a cover. On MSQC tutorials jenny has a video about how she made her ironing board.

    Katie, I can manage to nest alright at least the first few but it starts going off as i move along persumably because of the stretching, with all the advice I've gotten here I expect the next ones to be perfect. Thanks : )
