Default Help to find a Jelly roll

While working on a 1600 jelly roll quilt, I received a baby shower invite for March 10th. I have other projects in the works that have deadlines before then so I will have to do something quick when i start,( another 1600 quilt is in my future) I looked at the jelly rolls but not seeing the colors i want and there is the time issue. The colors I'm looking for are pale green, tan brown. It is for a baby boy. I feel like that there has to be something out there that is not too floral and without orange and pink in it,,,,HELP. She is going with the trendy boy colors so keep that in mind. Thanks soooo much kellie

Take a look at those fabrics, might be a little too bright. If you do order from there you probably need to buy 2 strip sets as they only have 24 strips in each pack.

I actually went to the site with this fabric in mind, but all they are offering of it is half yard cuts. You could cut your own strips. I have some of this and the fabric is really cute.

How about the Baby Talk Jelly Roll in the MSQC shop? It may not be exactly what you are looking for but it does have boyish designs with lots of blues and greens? You could just pull out the pinks and supplement with some tan/brown yardage or other colors if you like. You can find it in the shop here:

I cut my own strips for a boys jelly roll quilt, it didn't take that long to cut. I used an "alien" theme in red, black and white. I know that's not a baby theme, but it took me about 6 hours, beginning to end to do it. You can see it on my blog www.soooowht.blogspot.com

I made a D9P top with orange brown, blue and green, it was a DD. but i can't remember the name of the collection, sorry!

You could also try the batiks as well...seems to me there are some with your colors in mind...but wouldn't look babyish

I can see that being in this forum is going to be dangerous to my wallet!

Jean--that alien quilt is about the cutest thing I have ever seen! I think once I do my first one, I will definitely cut some of my own from my themed stash! I actually love the cutting and math involved in making quilts...I love the speed of the precuts, but there is something "honorable" about doing it the old fashioned way as well! Best of both worlds, I say!

I can't wait to see your lovely quilt, kellie!!!
