Question Which fabric should I use for binding?

    Hi everyone,
I'm almost finish making my first baby quilt for a friend out of 4 different hello kitty fabric. But now I'm stuck, I'm not sure which fabric to use for the binding. I still have the pink Hello Kitty Fabric that is cotton and the back fabric which is a white fleece like fabric with stars on it but if I can easily pick up more of the other fabric if you guys think I should use that for the binding.

Thanks in advance for all of your help!!!

I would probably go with the pink! I like to bring color out to my binding. I think the white would be okay but maybe a bit blah.

I'd go for either the pink or the blue. White is a bit blah as Rebecca's saying.

A colored binding will hide the dirt better. Those blankies tend to get drug all over the house!

I would go with a solid color, either pink or blue, slightly darker than the colors in the quilt.

Cute quilt! Since I machine bind, I use something that goes with either the sashing or the backing, then my threads that show aren't so obvious. I detest hand sewing, and my quilts are built for utility, not to be judged at the county fair or a quilt show. I used Jenny's tutorial to simplify my machine binding technique.
