I am in the process of finishing hand stitching the binding on mine. I used sashing, solid white jelly roll strips, in between each column of braids and a wider outer border and it is measuring 54x60. I did have enough of each jelly roll strip that I could have added another column of braids but I wanted to do a pieced binding and I was afraid there wouldn't be enough left to do that.
