Has anybody tried using the Sullivan's silicone spray on their acrylic extension table when quilting? Does is really make a difference and is it worth the shipping cost which is more than the product?

I've used it and I thought it definitely made a difference. Really made it slippery.
Were you able to buy it locally or did you purchase it online?
I have heard of the Sullivans silicone spray but have not used it. Right now I use pledge furniture polish and it makes everything really slippery for me.
I am such a material girl!!!!!Nena
Word of caution...if you have hardwood floors make sure not to overspray on them...I've done this a few times and about broke my neck!

If furniture polish works and is safe for using with fabric why not use that and not use the expensive silicone spray? Have others used the furniture polish with good results?
Have any of you tried those silicone sheets on the bed of the machine when FMQing?
Is this what you're talking about:

I haven't tried any kind of silicone yet.

I work to support a sewing habit that I don't have time for, because I work!
Jean- I took a FMQ class and I purchased the Supreme Slider. It really did make a difference! I don't use mine much but that is because I just don't enjoy FMQ on my domestic machine. But I do use it when I make a wallhanging as I don't mind doing FMQ on smaller items.
