Default What color solid for the backing?

I am making 2 of the Jelly Roll Race quilts for my daughter's Mother's Day Out teachers because they have been so wonderful with our daughter. But being it is hard to judge colors online, what color do you suggest for the backing. I want a solid color. I plan to do a brown binding. I was thinking orange but right now, it is out of stock (the Bella Solid) so I looked at either a green or blue. Any suggestions? I am liking Moda Bella Solids since the Jelly Roll was Moda Chrysalis.

I have blue in my cart but it is hard to tell if that blue will be too bright. I have this one in my cart. But should I try to find a lighter looking blue?

Maybe this one? Though there isn't much in stock.

I bet if you called them MSQC they could tell you if it would be a good match.

Is that blue in your quilt top teal or more of a cornflower?

It is a blue, hard to explain what shade. A medium shade of blue.

I think I like the dark brown that's in it.
But blue will be more bright maybe......hard to tell. I think if you make a darker border the colors will stand out.

I plan to do a brown binding. I didn't want to add a border since I like it as is. I wanted a bright backing to contrast the brown binding.

Any shade of any color in the quilt top would look find and go with your binding.
