Default Stack and whack with turnovers

So I bought some turnovers and didn't know what to do with them. I found the TUT on stack and whack pinwheels. Wow, I can't remember ripping so many times to get something right! It is tricky! But I got three blocks done, shall I quit now and make a table topper, or keep going to make a lap quilt?

Just keep plugging away. Once you've sewn that many and ripped so many things out you now have the pattern down pat. I did five of those blocks before I figured out what I'd done wrong. And now they are a breeze - such a pretty block. You'll never be sorry if you persevere.
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

Well, I don't use quilted lap robes, because the cat much prefers fleece, so I just ordered some more turnovers of the same pattern and a jelly roll to make a big quilt. I think it might be interesting. I'm using today's daily deal jelly roll--Sassy, and the Sassy turnovers with black in between. I'll use the jelly rolls end to end for sashing. Or I may play around with the other star that Jenny showed us using jelly rolls and black, that one intrigued me. At least that is the plan for now. With 2 turnovers, I can make 20 blocks, 4 rows by 5 columns. Then with sashing, I hope it will end up being big enough for my bed. I'll make some crazy wild pillowcases, and it ought to work for my quilt of the month for May. I have March and April already cut/started/near finished.

Thanks to all of you for your encouragement!
