    Question Need quilting suggestions

I have finished putting the borders on my quilt and I'm looking for suggestions as to how I should quilt it. First of all, this is only the 4th large quilt I have made. I haven't done any quilting since the '90s due to some medical issues. So, I can't hand quilt. With my other quilts, I have had them long arm quilted. Others I have done I stitched in the ditch or hand tied. I sew on a '48 Singer 66-16 in a cabinet. I am looking for suggestions as to what to do? Should I go with long arm stitching again and if so, what pattern does everyone suggest. I consider myself pretty much still a beginner, but since joining this site, I am so inspired. Please don't look too closely, as I know I have made some boo-boos. And the two border prints were not my first choice, but I had difficulty finding yardage enough in the prints I wanted. Thanks to everyone! Sue

    It's beautiful!!!

I can't help you with your question, I started quilting just a couple of months ago, so all I do is straight lines......

Good luck on your quilting, you did great on the top, I can't wait to see it all done!!!

I just had a very similar pattern quilted. The long arm quilter suggest an all over pattern with curves since the blocks are so linnear. She was right, it turned out beautiful, the quilting complements the blocks instead of fighting them. I love your fabrics and the blocks are a beautiful design. You should be proud!

I've had one quilt long-armed. After doing that, if I could afford it, I'd send them all out to be done.

You quilt is very pretty, nothing wrong with the border fabric that I can see.

That is very pretty and I see no problems at all with any of it. Great job. On the quilting what ever you feel comfortable with, doing yourself or if you can LAQ. Me I can't afford LAQ so I would do it myself and just "SITD" with my walking foot. (yes I am a CHICKEN!!!!!)

I think this is absolutely gorgeous! I just can't see anything at all wrong with it! I don't think I could even afford to take mine to be quilted but if you can I would say go for it! Again, it is just lovely!

Whatever you wind up doing, consider yourself a wonderful quilter! That is spectacular.
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??
