    Question INPUT PLEASE

OK in a previous post were I was showing my quilt top, later on I asked a question about the boarders I need some input to know if I have figured it out right. OK my quilt top right now is 45x66 and a twin sized should be 63x87 correct? So that means I need 18" for the top and bottom and 21" for the sides soooo I need to cut the boarders for the top and bottom 9" wide and the sides 10.5" wide is this correct? Please let me know before I cut up my boarder fabric!!!

Thanks for you help and advise, love ya all
    God Bless
    Hugs

If the finished size is 63x 87, then you forgot to add enough fabric for your seam allowance. Please refigure for that..

Listen to Granny Judy! I would also go with the larger measurement for all borders. It won't hurt if the quilt is an inch or 2 longer, and it will look more uniform.

Yummmmmmm! Can I come for brunch?
Yep, I would go with 11.5" all round. It really is looking good. I'm using the same line for my craftsy and MSQC BOMs, I love working with this fabric.

Sure Sunny Tina no problem...come on over for Sunday Brunch, cuz Saturday's is all gone!!! Sorry!!!

Thanks that's what I will do then 11.5" all around. I love this line too and this is the 1st real pieced quilt this size I have made!!! I bought plenty of the charm packs (5) and 1 twice the charm roll and 1 Moda Oatmeal (or was it wheat) Jelly roll to do this with!! I just love the way it all looks so soft and old fashioned like.

You have really done such a beautiful job on this quilt. And the top is almost done!

Then on to how to quilt it....
