    Hallo Klasien,

    How about an over-sized X & O where the white block is a fuzzy cut of a theme, say different tulips, windmills, or canal scenes. Below is a picture, I think I have the pattern for a queen size quilt.

    Your Xs could be done in different Delft Tile or Hindelope style fabrics.

    I'm sure you'll pick some cute materials, you have a great eye!
