Dutch Quilt.....
I'm going to the USA!!!!!
In about 10 weeks I'll go to Atlanta!
I will visit a friend of ours, who lost her husband in a carcrash 3 weeks ago, so I'm going to help and pamper her as much as I can those 10 days I'll be there!!
Now my quilting question!
I am planning on making her a dutch quilt, she loves Holland.
How much fabric should I get, and what is a fast and nice pattern for it (I'm thinking lapsize quilt)?
The dutch fabris is always big pattern fabric, with lots of dolls, windmills, tulips etc.......
If I'm going to make a D9P or another X & O pattern how many different fabrics should I use?
Thursday there is market again, so I will go and look for fabric, I have 10 weeks left so it should not be a problem...........
Hope you all can help me out here!!
Hugs,
Klasien
