If you had to repeat one quilt again, which one would it be.
why did you enjoy it so? Would you do anything different?
Thanks!

I dont have any specific pattern that I love that much to do it again, I like trying new things. My favorite quilts were made for the holidays last year. I made three quilts, one for my mom and both sisters. Seeing their faces receive a quilt I made specifically for them was priceless. This year I made the big tote from Jenny's tutorial, inside of it will be a table runner. Each year I'll try and make things for my family, they appreciate my work and use everything I've given them. The only issue I have now, my nieces are making orders! Lol
I guess I'll make theirs when they graduate med school in a few years or get married, which ever comes first.
I also made quilts for my sons. We picked out fabric together, and they watched me make the quilt from beginning to the end. They even helped w/ the placement of colors, since it was their forever quilt. I always iron on the back of each quilt my thoughts about the person and my love for them, and my children still read my letter to them at night when I'm at work. (I'm a police officer, working nights) they say my words comfort them when I'm
Not with them.
So I guess any quilt I've given to family made w/ love are my favorite quilts.
Hard to pick just one. The Disapperaing 9 patch and the Double Slice were both easy and quick. Bonus, no seams to match up.
But the one quilt I've made three times already is the labyrinth quilt. I really like the way it looks and it's simple to do.
**edited the post for spelling. To early in the morning to spell correctly the first time 'round.
This one - no specific pattern, adapted a couple and put them together! Loved the way it went together, felt great because I didn't follow "rules" and my grandson loves it - he sleeps under it every night, even brings it with him when he goes somewhere else.
Fussy cut the trains, bordered each train with flannel scraps, backed with flannel scraps (purple, his favorite color), ragged the seams. Made a double bed quilt
So far the only quilt style I may NOT make again is one on point....drove me nuts , but is DH's favorite. Go figure. I am still trying out new styles and patterns. After all, Lord knows, I have the stash for it. LOL
I guess I'm somewhat boring on this, but it was a Disappearing 4 Patch. The colors just went together so well and everyone that saw it wanted it. It was a gift for a friend and it is in a home loved and appreciated. I enjoyed laying the blocks out. I saw patterns I wasn't expecting and realized that sometimes moving things just a little makes a huge difference.

(If all the pieces fit perfectly, people will think it was made by a machine!) LOL
This quilt is the one I enjoyed doing the most. It consisted of making a lot of HST using HST paper. It ws something I would work on in between projects or when I needed a break from whatever I was doing. For this reason, there was no "Quilt fatigue". It was always fresh and a way to get out of doing what I should have been doing. The quilt basically put itself together.

My favorite quilt is always the next one I am planning in my head.
