The white binding with the green, yellow and white will be beautiful! Please post a picture when you're done!

I think it would look pretty, but for me the deciding factor would be the use. If it's for decoration and not a utility quilt, then I would be more inclined to bind in white than if it were going to be used all the time.

You know the rule... It's YOUR quilt, so you can do whatever you like with it,, I think white sounds lovely, especially with your color choices... You'll be washing it often, anyway...

We can't wait to meet miss Daisy, either..... Wiggles will make a great big brother...

Yes, I completed a UFO this spring, a tumbler pattern made with 1930's repro. fabrics. I used white binding for it.White binding; Artistic choice or terrible decision?-tumbler-binding-tool-star-quilts-april-2015-001.jpgWhite binding; Artistic choice or terrible decision?-tumbler-binding-tool-star-quilts-april-2015-004.jpg

I too have used white for binding, it was on my daughter's bed quilt and looks great! I think it's definitely an option to consider.

I got a little work done on the quilt today. I got some of the pieces fully cut and others roughly cut. I have not stitched anything yet but I think once I get going it will be pretty quick as it is a sort of whole-cloth quilt with applique rather than pieced blocks. I'm still not sure about binding. I think I'll get the top done then decide on binding once I can better envision the final result.

I think all he wanted was a puppy.

He has a baby Cabbage Patch doll named E.B. (which sounds shockingly similar to the word "baby" when an 18 month old says it) and he loves carrying it around and giving it hugs. I think he'll split his time between being very resentful of how much attention his sister will need and being the sweetest big brother ever.

We taught him that mommy's belly is named "Daisy" but now he sometimes points to his own belly and calls it Daisy too.

And after baby is here he will be lifting his shirt to feed his "E.B." just like mama!
