I am making a king size quilt that needs to be lightweight. What kind of batting should I use? I will also be machine quilting.
Thank you
Rachel

I use Hobbs 80/20 for everything.
Quilters Dream Request or Select. Absolutely the best.
I recently found Mountain Mist Cream Rose at Jo-Ann's and I love it. It's soft but very light weight. I am using it for everything now.
I like quilters dream cotton (low loft).
Thank you for your replies. I haven't decided what I will do for the batting yet. What do you think of using white sheet type fabric for batting?

Warm and Natural batting that's all I use
Hawaiigrammi
I have never used sheet, have heard of using flannel sheets.. Just me I would not use rev sheets. I am also one who pretty much uses warm and natural
If you can find an all cotton sheet, that would probably be fine for the backing. Using sheets that are polyester may result in pilling after a few washings.
