I am making a king size quilt that needs to be lightweight. What kind of batting should I use? I will also be machine quilting.
Thank you
Rachel

I use Hobbs 80/20 for everything.
Quilters Dream Request or Select. Absolutely the best.
I recently found Mountain Mist Cream Rose at Jo-Ann's and I love it. It's soft but very light weight. I am using it for everything now.
I like quilters dream cotton (low loft).
Thank you for your replies. I haven't decided what I will do for the batting yet. What do you think of using white sheet type fabric for batting?
Rachel
It has been a long time since I used a sheet for backing. It is certainly something I am considering for future quilts. You may have seen this already but if not you may find it helpful.
