Hi there, another silly new question. I bought the 10inch foundation paper from MSQ. Then I took some old strips and starting in the middle on the diagonal I stitched them. From the middle out to fill the square.

Took the foundation paper off, and when I went to press them, they seem very "wonky" to me. I ended up squaring them off to 9 1/2" squares but I am sure I am doing something silly wrong.

Did I pull at the paper too harshly, didn't think so. Did I iron to harshly, perhaps.

Any suggestions????
