I got mine at the True Value hardware store near me. They are not inexpensive, but worth it!

I got plastic clamps with springs at Ocean State Job Lot in the hardware/auto section. Dont know if you have that store there though.

I bought very strong clamps at Harbor Freight that work great. I find all kinds of things at HF for quilting and at very good prices.

Do you still need these? I have some you can have, if you can wait on the mail. I have a longarm now, so they are just taking up space. Send me a PM with address, if you'd like them.

Another vote for Harbor Freight. I got my clamps there at a very reasonable price.

Try using painters tape to fasten you quilt to the table.

I bought clamps on sale at Menards. They hold very well on my ping pong table.

For clamps when layering the backing/top/batting, go to Harbor Freight.

I use the clamps from the wood working department at Loweshttp://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?partNumber=552511-281-1901486&langId=-1&storeId=10151&productId=50214653&catalogId=10051 &cmRelshp=req&rel=nofollow&cId=PDIO1
The larger clamps from staples would not fit my table either. These come in various sizes also.

Question for Fab Stripper (?) ....about the Binder clips ( see below )

Can you purchase these Large Binder Clips at Walmart Stores, or do you have to order online at WalMart ? I have thought about buying clips.....I don't have to have clips that come from a quilt shop / fabric shop....anything that's reasonably priced and "works" will suit me just fine !
