    Default NCW Template Question

I am thinking of jumping on board and trying an NCW but I have a question for those of you who have made them. I saw that you can buy templates for this pattern and I also saw on their facebook page that several people have made templates themselves.

My question is: what are most of you doing about templates, if anything? Has anyone bought the ones advertised? Are templates a necessity?

I would like to have some information or opinions on the use of templates in making this wallet.

    Thanks for any info!

I think Jean bought the templates. I made my own out of a cutting mat. I'm either going to purchase the premade ones or cut some from plexiglass myself.

Thanks for the response Bubba. I think I will need all the help I can get on this one and was very interested to know if the templates are a good thing to have.

If you are going to make a lot of them, yes. If you are only making a few, no. Unless you buy them and sell them to me at a greatly reduced rate

I did buy them, but you can use the paper pattern if you just want to make one or two wallets. Emmaline has stopped selling them, but another company continues to make and sell them. I'll need to look up the name of that company. I'll post it in a minute.
