    Default Quilt backing question

I found a sheet that is the perfect color for the backing on the quilt top I just finished, but it's 65% polyester. Can anyone give me their 2 cents on quilt backings with high polyester content? I'm thinking it might be prone to sliding off the bed.

Often sheets with that high a polyester content pill - get those annoying little fuzz balls that you can't pick off. Microfiber sheets are the ones that won't stay on the bed.

Depending on the thread count it may also be hard to quilt.

I backed & bound one quilt with a sheet & it was tough going with quilting & handsewing the binding.
